For decades, prediabetes has gone unrecognized as the serious condition that it is. Without proper interventions, the condition affecting over 97 million U.S. adults can easily develop into type 2 diabetes. Now, there is an increased effort to define prediabetes and develop new metrics for diagnosing the condition.

During the study (sponsored by Abbott) participants will wear a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) and go about their daily lives. The goal of this study is to track the glycemic profiles of people with and without prediabetes.

If you are over 18, have not been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and are not currently taking any weight-loss medications, you may be eligible to participate in this groundbreaking CGM study. (participants are paid by Abbott for each study visit)
